I know that I've been slacking real bad on this section, however I want to reassure you that it is because JP, myself, and the team riders are putting all of our collective efforts into the upcoming full-length video. To help hold you over until I have some free time to put together an extras video, here is something I threw together for the Summer 09 Real Catalog. Sunday welcomes Curtis Whitaker!

Sunday's first Canadian rider. Curtis is super nice and kills it on a skateboard. He just recently won longtime friend of the shop Mike Todd's (owner of Cyril Skate Shop) Wanderer of the Year award. Needless to say we are very proud to welcome Curtis to the family. Look for him to have a full-length part in the upcoming Sunday video, but for now check out his 2008 footage (filmed and edited by Brent Kore) and photos (by Terry Worona) below!

Hello Spring!

I know I promised 2 more video updates for this past week, but unfortunately I became very ill and was stuck in bed with one of the highest fevers I've ever had for a few days. However, I'm feeling better now, and Spring seems to be in full effect as is filming for the upcoming yet-to-be-titled Sunday video, which is slated to premiere this Fall. To welcome the good weather, and being able to film again, I am posting the trailer/teaser that was shown before the Mind Field premiere. Wes, Kiefer, Kevin, Jon D, Dave Weaver, and Myself are flying out to Barcelona tomorrow morning to film for the video, more updates when we get back. Enjoy, and go skate!

Kevin's "Broken Nose"

Earlier today, Kevin snapped the nose off his board, and it seemed to have little to no effect on how he was skating. Keep in mind when you watch this it was filmed in about 5 minutes and everything was 1st try. Stay tuned for another update soon. Oh, it's gonna be nice out tomorrow, get out and skate!!

Here is the beginning of what will be another series of TF related updates. Whenever Dave wasn't busy with school or work we would head over to the warehouse and film, so I threw together this little clip of what he's accumulated over the past month or so. Sorry for the lack of updates lately. Wes and I have been coordinating a trip to Barcelona for next month. In the meantime, I will be cleaning out my hard drive of whatever TF and X-Wheels footage that is left, so expect a bunch of updates between now and this time next month! Because Brian works full-time, when he is able to skate you can tell he is just out having a good time with his friends. This definitely makes Brian one of my favorite people to go film with. Brian asked me to make sure some of the rest of the guys would have tricks in his warehouse part, so look out for cameos from a good portion of the team! Enjoy!

New TF Preview!

The TF has been under construction for a little while now. We are redesigning it with intentions of having be more of a casual place to warm-up or cruise around. We finally got enough done to where it's somewhat skate-able again, so I put together this clip of what the new TF is beginning to look like. Enjoy!

Das Widlak Footage

We met Jacob Widlak a.k.a. "Das" at the Silly Pink Bunnies (sillypinkbunnies.com) convention in San Francisco. He first came to the United States as a foreign exchange student landing in the same high school as Thomas Dragonette (Sunday Rider) and the local skate crew which included artist Jeremy Fish(superfishalsf.com). The gang skated everyday and the "bunnies" were born. Now every year there is a meeting of the gang in a city that changes every year. Hundreds of friends meet up every year to skate, drink, enjoy life & catch up. That year we picked Das up at the bus station in S.F. having never met him before. It didn't take long before Jake (Donnelly) & I agreed that Das should ride for Sunday. He is seriously the most genuine & kind person, with a huge sense of humor & personality. More than a few times he impressed us on that short trip. I am stoked to know Das and have him on Sunday.
